It's 2014!  I remember 14 years ago being so excited to watch the year change from 1999 to 2000.  What an exciting time that most generations never get to see.  It was exciting, but it came and went just as fast as any other year.  This year, I hope to be a blessing to more people.  I want to savor the moments that pass too quickly.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  Ours was fantastic!  We had a huge lunch with one side of the family.  On that side there are two toddlers and two babies. The babies were fun to watch together, crawling and pulling up on everything. My uncle blew up the Jump House for the toddlers and they had so much fun!  We then went to the other side of the family for dinner.  No room left for food, but there for the fun!  On this side we also have two babies and then a whole house full of 8-18 year olds!  Every where you looked Nerf arrows were flying by!  We had a great Thanksgiving, but Black Friday is here!  Stores are packed and shelves are being emptied which means Cyber Monday is near!  Get a jump on Cyber Monday by ordering this weekend.

It's Harvest time! (Stephen Joseph Farm)

Although we live in the middle of town, at our house, we always know when Harvest time is.  My husband is the Controller for a local Seed Company.  Most of the year, he works normal hours and spends his time in the office.  When Harvest comes, everyone helps!  He weighs trucks, takes seed samples, and many other things.  At home, we know it is Harvest time because of the long hours he works and how exhausted he is.  Well, it is Harvest time now!  We are thankful to all of the farmers that grow the food that feeds us!
I have a really cute farm book Bronx likes to read.  It tells about many things that happen on the farm including harvesting the grain and hauling it to the Seed Company.  When we read it, Bronx always says "That's where Popo works".  We get out the toy tractors and the dump truck.  We plow, plant, and harvest the grain.  Then we load it in the Dump Truck and haul it to the Seed Company!

You can't hardly turn on the television without seeing something about Dancing with the Stars! The few times that I have gotten to watch part of the show, I have enjoyed it. My guys don't seem to enjoy it much at all.  They are probably scared that I will think we should all take dance lessons or something equally entertaining to them! LOL!!  I am pretty sure that we would get kicked out of dance class!  LOL!! Most dance instructors wouldn't appreciate the "boy" humor that I am sure my guys would bring to class.
Our best friends have two daughters.  When the girls were younger, they took ballet lessons and dance classes.  I tried to make sure that we took the boys to the girls dance recitals. I could never get the guys as excited to go as I was.  It was always fun to see the dance costumes and the show the dancers were putting on.  I love the costumes!
